Join us on Wednesday, March 25 at 3:30 PM for a virtual phone bank.

We’ll be calling left-leaning independent voters in Sumter County to encourage them to re-enroll in vote-by-mail. These calls also help us identify voters who may support Democratic candidates in the upcoming midterm elections. Independent voters can make the difference—we need their support to win.

Training & Support

We’ll provide group training and live assistance via Zoom at 3:30 PM before you begin using our new dialer system.

How It Works

• You’ll use your computer or tablet as a phone
• The dialer sends messages directly to voicemail or connects you with voters who answer
• Your personal phone number and name remain private
• Voters will see the Sumter County Democratic Headquarters number on their caller ID

Why This Matters

We have a list of over 3,000 left-leaning independent voters in Sumter County. These individuals have supported issues such as a woman’s right to choose and have voted by mail in recent elections—but many have not re-enrolled.

In Florida, vote-by-mail requests expire after each general election. Many voters may not realize they need to sign up again. Your calls can help ensure their voices are heard.
